Abstract
This paper illustrates two improved DCM (Database Correlation Method) based positioning methods for MS (Mobile Stations) in cellular networks. The improved approaches are mainly based on the new cost function along with Cell ID Correlation. The simulation and experiment process is introduced in detail, including fingerprint data collecting, database creating, position matching and so on. Simulation results have shown that the proposed methods can obtain better location performance compared with the traditional DCM methods.
