  • Abstract
Instantaneous speed plays an important part in technical state detection on armored vehicle engine. In this paper, a method for measuring and analyzing the instantaneous rotational speed of the armored vehicle engine is introduced. As it is difficult to extract the characteristic parameter of instantaneous rotational speed signal during evaluating the technical state of the armored vehicle engine, an effective pre-preprocessing method based on Butterworth filter is presented for smoothing and silencing the signals. Taking experimental speed signals from a certain armored vehicle engine as an example, the method is applied to measuring and pre-processing. The result indicates that the measurement method is feasible and the signal processing method is effective.
