Abstract
Recent work suggested heuristic methods based on adaptive-biasing of linear power amplifiers to make efficient use of limited power supply in compact devices utilizing an OFDM based transceiver. In this work we provide explicit analysis of the power savings achieved with adaptive-biasing. Preliminary results of achievable power-saving are depicted as well.
