  • Abstract
Understanding of the electric field and electric potential distribution in medium voltage medical equipment are very important for designed and developed to take advantageous. The antitumor effectiveness of electrotheraphy which can be used to reduce the tumor massis highly dependen on the accuracy of the electric field and potential distributed through the tumor area. Biological materials such as human head has a particular value of permittivity which related to frequency. This paper present a visualization of electric field andpotential distribution using MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics in two dimensional, based on the finite element method. PET-CT Images are also used to determine the pulsed electric field properties of biological materials. The results shows that the maximum intensity of the electric field was received by nasopharynx cancer.
