  • Abstract
    To evaluate the performance of IEEE1588 synchronous system efficiently, and configure the operating parameter of the system, this paper designed a performance evaluation system of IEEE1588 synchronization system. The method adopting network communication is used to observe the real-time offset information and its statistical parameters. Moreover, the operating parameters can be configured through the networking communication. Finally, the results of test show that the system can display real-time synchronization performance of the system correctly. The deep sub-microsecond synchronization precision can be achieved, and the operating parameter of the synchronous system can be configured in real time. This method can also evaluate other implementation methods of IEEE1588. Therefore, it has good versatility and some practical value.
