Abstract
Present paper deals with the possibilities of the optimization of the psychoacoustic sound emitted by automobiles. Recent situation is the field of noise generated by the traffic is critical one. On one hand the noise from the traffic close to the intensively exploited transport communications rises, however on the other hand the economically acceptable reduction of the noise at its source - automobile is problematical. Manufacturers are forced to reduce the prices of their products at market and therefore there is no sufficient room for the active measures to reduce the noise. Here exists the possibility for the application of the psychoacoustics, though due to which the emissions of the noise are not reduced, but its parameters can be optimised and therefore it becomes more acceptable for the human.
