  • Abstract
A newly designed low-power high-voltage ASIC for driving reflective bistable flat panel displays is presented. Its unique architecture, the numerous implemented operation modes, and the 100 V driving capability make this driver chip extremely suitable as a tool for the development of new low-power mobile display systems. It allows the system developer to design and optimize the addressing scheme for a wide variety of reflective bistable LCDs in order to achieve maximum optical performance at minimum power consumption.
