Abstract
Chip scale atomic magnetometer (CSAM) has been demonstrated recent years. The Mx based CSAM is suitable for future application duo to its simply structure and high sensitivity. To operate such a device out of the lab environment, the control electronics need to be integrated in the chip head and manufactured with IC process. However, the control schemes already used either are not compatible with IC process or have narrow dynamic range. In this paper we present a new control scheme to overcome these limits by designing a negative gain as frequency insensitive 180deg phase shifter and an amplitude gain controller to drive CSAM on self-oscillating. The proposed control scheme has been tested and verified with simulations.
