The security mechanism of SNMPv3 and implementation based on SNMP++

SNMP protocol is used for network management system communication, Compared with SNMPv1 and SNMPv2, SNMPv3 increased security mechanism. studied the USM and VACM security mechanisms of SNMPv3; the measures of SNMPv3 for masquerade, modification of information, disclosure of information and modification of message stream; and SNMPv3´s implementation based on SNMP++. SNMPv3 greatly enhanced the security of network management information; the use of SNMP++ library function simplified the communication implementation of SNMPv3.
