Abstract
In this brief, a new chaotic communication scheme: differential correlation delay shift Keying (DCDSK) is proposed. Here, differential modulation is adopted to transform the information symbol into the differential symbol and the transmitted chaotic signal is produced by the reference relationship between adjacent differential symbols. At the receiver side, the differential demodulation module is added to the traditional receiver which exits in CDSK to estimate the information symbol. Simulations in additive white Gaussian noise channel are performed and compared with correlation delay shift keying (CDSK) scheme. The results show that the BER performance of DCDSK is superior to that of CDSK, and for different channel environments, the best BER performance can be gained with reasonable spreading factor.
