Abstract
Summary form only given. The method of measurement of turbulent energy dissipation rate in the boundary layer of atmosphere was developed. This method was tested using ground-based CO/sub 2/ cw Doppler lidar of Institute of Optoelectronics of German Aerospace Establishment in the fall of 1995 near Oberpfaffenhofen (Germany). The example of height profile of turbulent energy dissipation measured by Doppler lidar is presented.
