Abstract
Multiple disjoint multilayered particles are eliminated by plane electromagnetic waves of fixed frequency. We consider the inverse problem of finding the layers and the refractive indices of the configuration. To this end, we use an optimization method that is due to Colton and Monk, arid give numerical results that show the performance of the algorithm.
