Abstract
Summary form only given. Three main configurations are actually used for photorefractive crystal (PRC) based adaptive detection of ultrasound vibrations of real; diffusely scattering objects. They are the scheme with phase-conjugated wave, two-wave mixing configuration, and the configuration based on the nonsteady-state photoelectromotive force (EMF). All of them compensate for complicated (speckle like) wavefronts and for slow environmental phase drift. We performed measurements of highfrequency response of GaAs adaptive photodetectors.
