Abstract
Summary form only given. We report on the dependence of the lasing thresholds of two competing modes at 620 nm and 650 nm for sulforhodamine 640 at 2.5/spl times/10/sup -2/ M on density of scattering particles. The spectral measurements of the emission were performed in backscattering arrangement. The sample solutions were pumped by 3-ns 532-nm laser pulses.
