Abstract
A pulsed liquid laser operating at 5 pulses per second and an average power of 100 watts has been developed. The laser material consists of Nd-trifluoroacetate dissolved in POCl3 acidified with ZrCl4 . The concentration of Nd is 0.3 mole/liter The fluorescence lifetime of the solution is in excess of 300 µsec and the dynamic loss in the circulating medium is 0.0035 cm-1.
