Abstract
The neural network image analysis system (NNIAS) was developed to identify and locate objects in digital images. NNIAS was used to identify and locate blood vessels in an image of bone tissue. Different neural networks were trained to identify various aspects/features, of blood vessels at different locations within a scanning bar. The scanning bar defined the segment of data that was processed by NNIAS. Another network integrated the results of the single networks to enhance the identification and location of the blood vessels. A proprietary third stage of processing was added to improve performance
