  • Abstract
    This paper proposes a self-adaptive flow control scheme to congestion control in ATM networks with a single congested node. Specifically, it shows that the proposed control algorithm is stable and guarantees full utilization of network in theory. Moreover, the simulation results demonstrate that this method can adjust the send rate and queue in buffer rapidly and effectively. The method is easy to implement and could have a practical application in ATM networks.
