It is certain that the emergence as key questions of the knowledge work and the knowledge-worker´s productivity will bring about fundamental changes in the very structure and nature of the economic system. Work on the productivity of knowledge work and the knowledge worker has barely begun, but the most important contribution that management needs to make in the 21^th century is to measure and increase the productivity of knowledge work and knowledge workers, also it is the most important management task in the new century. This paper mainly reviews the research status about the measurement methods of knowledge work productivity and prospects for the promising research directions of knowledge work productivity measurement method. It lays the abundantly theoretical foundation, provides the scientific basis for in-depth research on measurement method of knowledge work productivity.
