Abstract
Y2O3 doped tungsten powders were prepared by method of spray drying combined with two-step hydrogen reduction to fabricate Y2O3-W cathode. The XRD, SEM results declare that by using this kind method, the yttrium-doped tungsten powders had an average size of 550 nm with homogenous distribution of Y2O3 throughout the tungsten. It is expected that cathode made of this kind of powders can provide good emission.
