Abstract
Three-tank System (TTS) is a widely adopted benchmark experimental system for evaluation of the fault detection and diagnosis methods. In this paper, an Internet-based three-tank system constructed in Tsinghua University and the University of South Wales are introduced. Based on this, some recently publicated fault detection and diagnosis results for Internet-based Three-tank System are surveyed, including fault detection, fault isolation, and fault estimation techniques for nonlinear/nonlinear networked systems with disturbances. Approaches in both H∞ framework and least squares framework are reviewed. Some promising research topics are highlighted in the end of this paper.
