  • Abstract
Wind energy is a kind of renewable energy source with great potential. Besides, the wind technology is comparatively mature and the cost of the wind power generation is low. Since 2003, the Chinese government has implemented wind farm concession projects to gradually reduce the cost and grid price of wind power. Thus Chinese wind power can develop on a large scale. Until 2009, China has implemented 5 pounds of wind farm concession projects. This paper mainly analyses these 5 projects´ scale, tender price, appraisement principles as well as their impact on the wind power industry. According to the studies mentioned, these five projects´ beneficial points and facets, which need to be improved in the future, are identified. Furthermore, some recommendations on the wind price and wind technologies are proposed.
