Abstract
A front-face-flash-monitoring method to obtain the thermophysical properties of different objects (including layered ones) is considered. The theoretical results are compared to experimental data obtained with the 0.071-mm-thick polyvinylchloride film. The agreement between theory and experiment is satisfactory
