Abstract
A novel maneuvering target tracking algorithm based on a model of a dynamical system with changing structure is considered. Such a model incorporates both the random and deterministic character of changes. Using this approach enables one to work out relatively simple recursive algorithms which can be easily carried out in parallel implementation using the DSP units. The simulation results of the algorithm implementation are presented. The comparative analysis has revealed better performance characteristics of the proposed algorithm in comparison with the interactive multiple model (IMM) approach.
