Abstract
A novel approach of modeling heat transfer in Taylor flow is presented. The model addresses especially the applications of Lab-On-a-Chip systems and focuses on the thermal behavior of individual droplets. Heat transfer is investigated at different boundary conditions as heat generation inside the droplet and heat generation at the droplet surfaces. A novel approximation of convective mass and heat transfer is presented as well.
