Parallel Controller Structure for On-Line Performance Assesment

In this paper an approach to computer control systems is discussed, in which a number of either similar or, more likely, dissimilar controllers are employed in a parallel feedback network. The resultant control is then a weighted combination of the signals from the various feedback control limbs, the weighting values possibly being time variable. The method is particularly well suited to parallel processor implementation.
