Abstract
A laboratory-scale two-stage electrostatic precipitator (ESP) was designed. The collection of precharged fine particles in a plate-plate section of precipitator is investigated. Using some models of electrostatic precipitation, the migration velocity of particles was determined for several values of the electrical field strength. These values agree reasonably well with theoretical estimates
