  • Abstract
    Condition monitoring is needed in water pump system. To have reliable operation its condition must be monitored continuously. SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) is a computer-based industrial control systems used to control and monitoring processes. One of the protocols used in SCADA system is IEC 60870-5-101 standards protocol. The main purpose of this paper is to implement the IEC 60870-5-101 Protocol for on-line monitoring of Water pump system and to interface between master station and control unit. It also presents the new design in terms of multilevel architecture.
