Abstract
Two RU-38A prototype aircraft were flight tested by the Air Force Flight Test Center. This paper addresses four flight test techniques used in Pitot-static testing of the RU-38A: tower flyby, ground speed course, pacer aircraft, and blended/pacer tower flyby. All four flight test techniques provided critical data for Pitot-static testing of the RU-38A. Altimeter and airspeed position errors are now known in the altitude and airspeed envelopes of the RU-38A. These position errors will be applied to all future data in this flight test program
