  • Abstract
A detection method for the abrupt changes of signals has been presented. The function called stationarity index, that is derived from a time-frequency signal representation, was used for detection. Only the broad-band signals were analyzed. The efficiency of detection at the different time-frequency signal representations has been investigated. The new modified version of the stationarity index has been proposed that improves probability of proper detection
