Abstract
Types of polymeric insulators for overhead power lines and their associated terminal plant are increasing in number. The choice of design and material is now fairly extensive. The electrical performance in a moist, salt-laden atmosphere has been determined at the Brighton Insulator Testing Station for a wide range of products. The data presented, on insulators for system voltages below 150 kV (RMS), complement the information previously published for higher voltage levels
