  • Abstract
    Design and experimental study of a detonator using a lengthy exploding wire fuse are proposed. A shock-wave unit using electrically exploding wire for initiating high-explosive charges to create axially symmetric detonation front is developed. The detonators are made and tested in two designs. The design details and the results of experiments are reported.
