Kristen Pressner has a passion for encouraging women to step into leadership roles. Both as part of her day job in human resources (HR)-she currently serves as the vice president and head of HR for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America for Roche Diagnostics-as well as through the opportunities she\´s had to speak to women across the globe, Pressner offers a call to action, practical tips, and stories from her own experience as to how women can take on leadership roles in their careers and push aside concerns they may have about their abilities or the impact on work-life balance. A mother of four, she provides a unique perspective as someone who has returned from maternity leave (repeatedly), sits as a top female executive at a large global company, and works in HR, thus having a view "behind the curtain."
