  • Abstract
The main goal of the described project was to develop useful models of behaviour of waterproof plugs in the cavern gas storage. The models are intended for facility operators that compare the real behaviour of plugs with the models. The models are used as diagnostic models. The models provide the accelerated estimation of the future behaviour thus the next operator steps are based on this comparison. Such an approach is mainly used during the critical part of the facility operation as the charging and discharging of the storage. Neuro-fuzzy models have been built for diagnostic purposes. This approach was chosen considering following facts: (a) nonlinear models are required (b) models should be designed based on real data (c) results should be interpretable in order to know more about the behaviour of waterproof plugs.
