Abstract
In this work, calculation of the stationary temperature distribution in high-power broad-area lasers across the laser resonator in the plane parallel to its mirrors is performed. Heating mechanisms such as non-radiative recombination, reabsorption of light and Joule heating are taken into account. Diagrams illustrating the contributions of the different heat sources to the final temperature of the device are also presented.
