Abstract
The hybrid method combining the physical optic and parabolic equation methods for computation of electromagnetic wave propagation over irregular terrain and the suitable interpolation for the intermediate zone are described. That enables more reliable calculations of electromagnetic wave propagation over irregular terrain. Therefore, the propagation effects from the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) viewpoint can be analyzed.
