Abstract
In this paper is analyzed capacity and rate improvement due to cooperation in a network where cooperating terminals are close together. Cooperation between terminals is used for minimizing fading induced by multipath propagation in wireless networks. The cooperation techniques exploit space diversity available through cooperating terminals´ relaying signals for one another. Depending on allocated power among terminals in network along with full or partial channel state information (CSI), there are variations in system performances.
