Abstract
This paper presents statistical modelling of impulse response of the radio propagation channel in a factory environment. Proposed channel model was based on the results of the wideband measurements. Amplitudes and delays of particular multipath components have been described by means of statistical distributions in order to model the spatial variation of the channel. Certain simplification of the model, consisting in utilising single distribution to describe amplitudes of all multipath components except the first one, was also proposed.
