Abstract
In this paper we present methods enabling the analysis and detection of the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) signals. Presented procedures enable estimation of the basic parameters of the signal, identification of the standard and provide knowledge concerning essential information about the transmitted signal. Efficiency tests of proposed method of analysis are also introduced in the work. The error probability (Pb) is used as the basic merit of the proposed method efficiency.
