Abstract
In this study, highly purification of commercially purchased alginate was performed so as to make it suitable for alginate encapsulation. Then, the encapsulation of hybridoma cells was achieved by using obtained alginate. Consequently, the production of monoclonal antibodies in pilot-scale was performed via the cultivation of immobilized hybridoma cells.
