Abstract
As a part of specialized optical remote antenna system the source of highly stable infrared radiation has been designed and implemented. The source has to excite Mach-Zehnder type external intensity electro-optical modulator. That is why the generated radiation has to meet certain requirements. Strictly constant optical power of the radiation is vital. The paper describes design and structure of implemented source. Results of the measurements are presented as well.
