Abstract
This paper presents methods for reduction of thermal phenomena effects appearing during the analysis of images presenting heat-emitting objects. The proposed methods utilize drop shape analysis algorithms in process of removing aura from segmented images of melted metals. Results of applying the proposed solution to the drop shape analysis process are presented, analyzed and discussed.
