  • Abstract
This paper presents one of the possible ways of a formal modeling business management of the public telecommunication network. Like a tool which could be used in design of business management model has to present business processes precisely and unambiguously. Model has to contain all elements which are needed to describe system business support and its role in business management. Formal methods which will be examined in modeling are diagram-based methods (UML, SDL, Petri Nets). Formal model has to simulate business processes, data flow through the systems which are part of network management and data flow to network elements which are configured. Model has to define needed data for employees who are participants in business process too. Final, if none of formal methods gives satisfying results it is needed to define in which direction research has to go to get an adequate formal model.
