Clustering of internet based image search results with graph theoretical content analysis

Daily increase in the use of multimedia data brings along the problem of accessing the desired data within the enormous amounts of visual contents. To overcome this problem, the users have preferred internet based search engines. Unfortunately, none of these widely used popular search engines offer a content based solution. In this work, the grouping of the results obtained from the internet image search engines is implemented with the assumption of the possibility to use the dominant sets method, which is successfully used in the video segmentation studies, for a content based grouping process.
