  • Abstract
Although memory systems with different types and functions were observed in biological networks dynamics of these memory systems was not understood in detail due to their complex structures. In order to understand the dynamics of these systems, it is necessary to understand dynamics of the motifs in these systems. In this study, we investigated long-term and short-term memory behaviour of two different motif structures consisting of three neurons for DC and random input currents. Hodgkin-Huxley neuron model with single compartment is used for neurons. The results show that motifs consisting of three neurons can behave memory function.
