Delayed Error and update scheduling of LMS algorithms

This paper treats Delayed Error Least Mean Squares (DELMS) algorithm and Selective Update Delayed Error Least Mean Square Error (SU-DELMS) algorithms. Main contributions of research presented in this paper include: delay system based formulation of DELMS algorithm, analysis of convergence properties resulting from error delay, relation of this dynamics to zero-delay LMS algorithm, and effects of such error on excess mean square error of the algorithm.
