Abstract
This paper introduces possible way of data acquisition needed for the new fault location method for medium voltage networks. Because the method is based on voltage drop detection, the analyses of factors influencing the accuracy of data acquisition are presented. Proposed detection circuit for voltage drop detection together with some testing results are described at the end of this paper as well.
