Abstract
The paper presents results of the missile measurement and shows a possibility how to estimate a horizontal position of the missile. The missile is detected by a set of microwave curtains installed side by side on the top of a steal gate. For missile recognition, required for proper function of active defense system, the missile imprint seems to be important. The imprint of three different missiles is shown and discussed. As the 9 mm bullet´s imprint is very simple, the one of the RPG-7 missile is much more complex due to more complicated structure. The measured imprints could be also useful for dynamic electromagnetic phenomena explanation and for missile identification.
