Transport Cargo Handling Shipments in Air Transport in the Aspect of Supply Chains

The article presents the issues of handling cargo shipments in the air transport. The organisation of shipments in the air transport has been skilfully described as a part of optimizing supply chains problem at the national as well as the international levels. This article presents one of the approaches to optimising cargo transportation routes where the central airport and regional airports have been included. An optimisation task has been formulated and then a decision-making situation has been presented.
