Abstract
For improving the working life of engine cylinder liner, using relevant equipments, instruments and methods, the test studys the wear-resistant treatment to Cylinder Liner Inner Surface. The results showed that: after plasma beam scanning, cylinder liner inner surface achieved self quenching depend on self fast cooling and obtained aphanic martensitic structure with high hardness, Under the other experimental condition unchanged, When working current is at the range of 60~90A, cylinder liner hardened layer depth, width and hardness was basically showed linear uniformly increasing with scanning stroke increasing gradually, the homogenization degree of austenite was more fuller, Martensitic content increased gradually, retained austenite content decreased gradually, installation wear resistant study showed that: after two-layer partition plasma beam scanning and hardening, different parts of boron cast iron cylinder liner wear loss was almost equal, and the working life of original boron cast iron cylinder liner was raised to higher than 3 times, The process is easy to realizing modernization and worth of application and extension for little deformation, low energy consumption, high efficiency, no pollution and good uniform wearability.
