Abstract
In this paper, we derive the new closed-form expressions for bit error rate (BER) in detecting quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) signals transmitted over flat Nakagami-m fading channels. By using this expressions, the effects of fading severity and average signal-to-noise ratio on BER perfomance are analyzed.
